Accessing
as Puppet Master

To access as Puppet Master (means Teacher) you have to follow
few steps. First go to the web site www.emapps.com as soon you
connect it checks if you have the right flash plug

Click ENTER, then in the wheel choose
your country based in the country code.

When you enter in your country the GAME 1 and GAME 2 buttons will
light up in red colour. These Games correspond to the participants
schools on each country. Partners who has no games offer information
about their role in the project. |

After you have chosen GAME 1 or GAME 2
you get in to a page where it gives information about the participant
school and request a password to go forward in the game engine platform. |
 |
Here you have to type the user and
password.
It is the same way to access to content and editing mode for Puppet
Master or players.
The user and pass are different for Puppet Master who suppose
to control de whole game concept and give to the players the access
codes. Conclusion is; Puppet Master access code are given by emapps.com
game engine while players get the access code from the teachers
when they create the players on each group. In this way players
access to different part of the game engine.

Once you have logged in a new content
menu is shown the Puppet Master menu is different from players'
menu.
Here we have the following options:
MENU: eMapps, Log Out
PLATAFORM: Platform, Edit Platform, Config Values
DESK: Edit Desktop, View LOGER, View CHAT, Mobile Upload
WEBS: Selector Webs, Edit Webs
LETTERS: View Letters, Edit Letters

MENU: eMapps

Takes you to the main entrance page.

MENU: Log Out

Use this option to leave the game engine once you have done the
modifications or edited the content. It is highly recommended
you log out.

PLATAFORM: Platform

From here you can access to the Game Content Management engine
only in view mode, without the possibility to modify the object
data.
The platform is the place where all the objects are edited, before
they are uploaded to the different game levels.
The objects (audios, videos, photos, texts,) can be modified
at any time.
The best you prepare your game objects the better you can manage
the game resources for playing the game.
The players can not access to these objects, the Puppet Master
upload them to the game levels.

PLATAFORM: Edit
Platform

Here you can both visualize and edit the content in the platform.

PLATAFORM: Config Values

Here you can configure the following things:
translation, maps and scenarios, menus, PIN of map and scenarios
and their colour.

DESK: Edit Desktop

From here you can access to configure the whole game components.
Create Game, group, players , levels, and assign content to each
level.
This is the way for the Puppet Master to access all DESK games
and visualize the content.
In this section all the tools for configuring levels, time, clues,
and game content are viewable.
From here you make the follow up of the game and control the
information once the game started.

DESK: View LOGGER

The View Logger is the monitoring tool that
enables you in a quick way to know what the players are doing
in the game, e.g. uploading data, who is, what kind of object,
etc.

DESK: View CHAT

The View Chat allows you to see all game communications and during
the game is used by the Puppet Master and the Control base for
pumping information into the game.

DESK: Mobile Upload

Allows you access to the Mobile simulator enabling you to upload
content to the game desk as if you are a player but directly from
the web.
Puppet Master use this tool for upgrading content on the different
Desk while playing the game.
This option is also available for the players in the case they
can not use a mobile device.

WEBS: Webs for
ARG concept

In the Game Engine you can create web pages that can be hidden
under redirected domains or subdomains.
This information is created in the concept of ARG in order either
to give extra information to the players or to confuse them. These
pages are complementary to the DESK information.
These pages can be used for giving instructions or new rules,
suggestions or recommendations to the players, the kind of content
is unlimited and has to be designed with the game.
It is a very easy system to use, once the site is generated it
gives you a link code that can be inserted in any part of the
game.

WEBS: Edit Webs

You need an user and password to access the edit web mode.
This is provided by the Game Engine.
The web management system has 10 different templates and each
design is different and the photos cannot be modified. You can
also see in an easy way the results of your work. Read more about
it in 10web.

LETTERS: View Letters

Allows you to visualize the pages created by the players as a
final result of the game. This pages are editable by the players. |

LETTERS: Edit Letters

From here you access to the letters in order to edit the content,
to modify the data and the format. The data must exist as a result
of the game, if no data uploaded then nothing is shown on the
screen.
