Access the Game Engine (Rep Game)1

When you access the Platform you access directly to visualize the maps and blogs.

At the right you find all Blog menus.

Map Blog

The information edited in the platform is the same information uploaded to the DESK. Please note that any linked information will be automatically uploaded with the object so there is no need to upload all associated objects since the object contains in itself all the information.

Is not possible for the player to modify the information contained in the map once uploaded to the DESK.

In top part of the menu is the list of available maps, if you have more than one the one shown in bold indicates in which map you are.

In the platform we find a series of palettes that enables to visualize the information contained on the map. You can hide them or move around the screen.

The Palettes are: CONTROL, INFO, LIST, LAYERS, ROUTES. (also visible in no editing mode)

 

Palette CONTROL

Allows you zoom in and out and move right and left, up and down.

You can move the map by dragging on it but not dropping it until you reach the point you want.

If you click in any point of the map the engine makes a 100% zooming to the point.

 



Palette INFO

The Palette gives you the UTM coordinates (assuming the map is properly geo referenced) this data are the two first lines. When you move the map or your position in the map this info change.

If you want to go to an specific coordinate introduce the data in the boxes push go and a pointer will show you the position on the map.

If you push the arrow below the second line you save this date for future retrieval of the position just by pushing the go button.



Palette LIST

From the list you can access to the different PINs that represents the different objects you locate on the map. By clicking on the colour block a list of objects is displayed. Once you click in any name of the list the game engine takes you to the object on the territory making the PIN visible on the map.

The white colour allows you to see the complete list of objects. The black colour delete all PINs.

The PINs located in the map have a roll over that display the title, a text, a graphic icon and links to other objects.

PINs are created in the platform.

 

Palette LAYERS


Allows you to display multiple layers of a map. Most of the games have vector map, ortophoto or combination of both.




Palette ROUTES

Display the routes or path created in the map, it can be routes, ways or other indicators as clues for the game.

When you click over the route the game engine takes you to the start position of the route and display the PINS included in map.
